  No. You need to purchase an annual Personal plan or higher for hosting. A custom domain will then be included free for the first year.

  You can still use our Free hosting with a domain. The thing is that the domain will redirect to your free .wordpress.com. To make the domain your site’s primary address you’ll need to upgrade to one of our annual plans.
