Payment for annual subscription and usage

    I have just started this blog and would like to upgrade to a annual plan. My question is, I need to use and update this blog for a year or two. After that, if I wish to, can I stop the payment? Will that mean that the blog will disappear, or will I not be able to update/ edit it any more? Will it still be available online after stopping the plan?

    Can you share the address of your site. Is it hosted here at WordPress.com or not? Where it is hosted will determine if the site can be downgraded to free (here) or if it will go offline if a plan expires(elsewhere).
