  As you were told 4 months ago, the issue is with PayPal who have declared Nigeria a scam zone because of the money they have lost to that country. Like all companies, WordPress.COM uses an outside company to process payments and they have chosen PayPal.

  Yes! But PayPal Has lifted The Ban On Nigeria, And That Is Why WordPress Made Provision For Us Nigerians Bloggers To Pay With Our Credit Cards, But Unfortunately 99% Of Nigerians Including Yours Lovely Have Debit Mastercards Or Debit Visa Cards, And We Have Been Shopping Online With Them All Over The World. Accepted Globally!

  Please WordPress Should Look Into This Frustrating Situation We Are Facing, To Enable Us Upgrade.

  At this time, our credit card processor (PayPal) has chosen to block payments from your country.

  If you have access to credit card with a billing address outside of the country, you can try that.

  Alternatively, we do accept Bitcoin, which you can read more about at http://www.weusecoins.com/

  Same problem i have. I have been trying to pay with my master and visa card and no one is accepted. This is so frustrating, i have been able to do a lot of online payments from Nigeria, this is the first that has declined my card. So frustrating. Now i know what the problem is, i would go pay via pay pal. I hope i wont be declined again. Pleaseeeee you guys should try and review this. Thank you.

  There really isn’t anything we can do to force our credit card processor (PayPal) to accept credit card payments from regions it doesn’t want to.
