  how can i choose monthly payment over annual? i cant find the option when upgrading.

  Hello,

  You can definitely change your payment to a monthly basis. To do this, you would first need to cancel your current annual plan. You can do this by going to your Purchases page and following the guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#cancel-a-plan

  Once you’ve canceled your plan, you can then subscribe to the upgraded plan on a monthly basis directly from this page: https://wordpress.com/plans/monthly/

  Additionally, I am tagging this thread for Staff assistance(if they can update it from their end directly). Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  Click the downfacing arrow to see the monthly option. Hoever note it will cost you much more in the long run. And you will miss out on support and the offer of a free custom domain for the first year.

  I see that you’ve already upgraded to the WordPress.com Personal plan and selected the monthly billing option. :) As themagicrobot explained above, you save quite a bit of money if you pay yearly, and you can switch to annual billing anytime to save costs.

  of course you can,by changing first activated plan and go to purchase page and you will find next page and follow .
