payment gone awry

    I am trying to bring my domain back online. I paid for WordPress Basic through domain.com which hosts my domain! WordPress considers I have not paid. What to do now?

    Thanks for reaching out! I understand how this can be a bit confusing!

    I took a look and saw that you currently have a Free plan with WordPress.com, and your site is active. However, since you purchased a WordPress hosting plan through domain.com, your hosting for your domain is actually with them, not with us.

    Because of this, WordPress.com doesn’t show a paid plan on your account.

    If you’d prefer to continue using your WordPress.com site (which is totally fine!), you can cancel the hosting service with domain.com and simply upgrade your Free plan here to unlock more features, like being able to use your custom domain: WordPress.com pricing.
