Payment integration / Paywall
-
Hi @ all.
Gosh.. I could scream right now. After writing a very long thread I clicked on “Publish” and was redirected to the forums without the thread being published. Then clicked on my profile picture to open it in a new window and didn’t find a way back to the forums. -.-
As you can see.. WordPress and me is not really working out.
First off, please excuse my lack of the english language. Hopefully I still get my message delivered.
Anyhow.. We’d like to integrate a Paywall in our blog.
Some time ago we were selling excel-sheets, to-do’s, crm, finances.. Especially the latter since the rise of crypto. Everything very oldschool via html page and e-mail.
Unfortunately I though WordPress was a good idea, but to be honest, it’s not really making anything easier right now. We are wasting a lot of time and ressources, so hopefully someone has an idea on how to fix that.
The optimal version would be: Users without subscription can’t see anything (optionally the post titles, so they know what they will get), by clicking on a post a pop-up is opening where they can buy a one-month-subscription. $50 for the first month, $30 on the second month, $20 for another renewal and from then on $10 for every following month. After paying they’ll have access to everything for free.
I got Sellix, WooCommerce, PaidMemberships, WooMemberships and a few others.. I created a product with WooCommerce I called “Premium Users”, set a redirection for non-premium users when they click on a post, so that they get redirected to a shop page and enabled access to all sheets/blog posts for Premium Users.
After inserting address and pressing “Place Order” I get an error which says “Something went wrong. Please contact us to get assistance.”
Maybe something with the API, webhook, or whatever.. (to be honest, I don’t really know what all that means)I’m a little overwhelmed and my business partner and me decided to shut down the server and go back to our old routine. But I want to give it one last try after all the efforts and uploaded everything on a free hoster.
However.. Thank you for taking the time to read my little “rant” and feel free to provide any idea you might have for a simple solution. I don’t want to search for errors anymore and hope someone knows a plugin which just lets you set access for premium, and non-premium users and enables “premium mode” after the correct payment amount has been made to a crypto address of our choice.
Kind regards

I understand that you’re frustrated about setting up your site to sell your products using WordPress and WooCommerce. While I understand that is the goal, I’m not able to assist without more details, such as the URL of your site. Keep in mind we are only able to assist with sites that are hosted at WordPress.com, and not sites that are hosted with the self-hosted version of WordPress that is hosted at another host. If you could provide your site URL we can see where you would need to go from there.
