    Proceeding with the subscription payment, received the following warning: ‘One or more transactions linked to this site were refunded due to a contested charge. This may have happened because of a chargeback by the credit card holder or a PayPal investigation. Each contested charge carries a fine. To resolve the issue and re-enable posting, please pay for the chargeback fine. ‘ Could you please explain what is this and what caused it?

    I see you disputed the renewal payment for hovikmusayelyan.com and the Personal plan. When this happened, your card provider issued a chargeback against us (chargebacks are a fraud prevention tool).

    When a chargeback is issued, all upgrades are removed and your account is locked until you cancel the dispute or pay a chargeback fee — which is why we don’t recommend disputing payments if you want a refund.

    Please contact your card provider and cancel the dispute. It would be great if you could reply here afterwards so we can whether that has come through to our system.

    Do you want to cancel these upgrades and receive a refund? Or was this done in error and you wish to continue using them?

    Just let me know and we can go from there.

    Thank you for your reply.

    This was done by error. The system charged the annual fee and I couldn’t recall what is it for so the transaction was appealed. Now I want to cancel that and allow the payment to occur so I can continue using the domain. I contacted my bank and they said that if you decline the appeal then the charged amount of money will become valid and I will be able to continue using my account.

  • @blursulafashion1 for us to remove the chargeback you’ll need to withdraw the dispute on that side.

    Or, you can pay the chargeback fee and re-purchase the ugprades, whichever is most convenient.

    Thank you all,

    I confirm the charged amount of money.
    The dispute was done by mistake since there was an automatic charge which I couldn’t recall. Hence, the dispute was an error. I contacted the bank (and they should have contacted you back) please, take as valid the amount of money that was initially charged so I can reuse my account properly.
