Payment methods from South Sudan

    Hi, our charity is funding the hosting and domain reg fees for an NGO in South Sudan. They are willing to pay themselves but appear unable to. What are the payment methods available for an NGO based in South Sudan? Many thanks, Andrew

    Hi there,

    We don’t have any country-specific payment methods for South Sudan, but users based in that country should be able to pay with the default payment methods available on WordPress.com, namely any valid debit or credit card issued by one of the major global credit card companies.

    If the NGO doesn’t have access to such a card, another option would be for them to use a prepaid Visa or MasterCard.

    If they do have a card but the payment is being rejected or they’re running into an error, it will be best if they contacted us directly, using the account through which they’re trying to make the purchase.
