Payment Not Reflected

I’ve paid for Premium, the money is taken from my account and it’s not reflected on my site.
After placing order, there’s no confirmation page and and the buffering is incessant as it say ‘Almost there – we’re currently finalizing your order.’ It’s been 40 minutes.

Matters are made worse by the fact that 14 minutes ago, WordPress emailed me to say:

    ‘You’re almost there!

You took that crucial first step toward upgrading your website, but you didn’t check out. No worries! The plan you selected (nice choice, by the way) is waiting in your cart.Just a reminder, when you complete your upgrade, you’ll have access to all the benefits of managed hosting with WordPress.com. • Hey there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

It looks like the message has cleared and you should be all set – to check, are you also seeing this message?

I now have Premium but I’ve been charged for it twice. As such, I need one of the charges (£70.56) to be refunded. How soon can I expect a refund and what do you need from me to prove the double charge?

  • Oops. It looks like you have indeed been charged twice – for your Premium plan, and for the another year renovation. Your plan would have been valid until 2025 but, since you asked to be refunded, I did that. You should be able to see all the details from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing.

Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, but some banks may require more time to process the refund.

In some cases, you will not see a separate refund listed on your statement, but the original charge will be removed instead.

I hope that helps, and sorry for the initial trouble!
