  Instead of a year straight payment, can i pay monthly for a plan?

  To see which plan your site is on visit My Site → Plan. For more information on plan features and prices, check out our current plans and pricing and plan features pages.

  Plans are billed annually or every two years depending on your plan type. Custom domains are billed annually.
  Both plans and domains are set up to renew automatically by default for another term.
  You can manually renew your plans and domains for multiple subscription terms to ensure you have a working site.
  There is no monthly billing option at this time.
  Plan purchases can only be applied to one site. If you would like to start another separate site, you will need an additional plan.
  You can turn automatic renewal off at any time if you don’t want your subscription to renew.
  Automatic renewal occurs 30 days prior to plan expiration. Your subscription is extended by a year from the original expiration date.

  What conversion rate is wordpress using. For instance, if i intend to be on the premium plan of $8, what is the conversion rate in terms of Nigerian naira.

  Secondly, does the 1year free subscription that comes with every plan apply at the beginning?. I mean does my subscription proper start reading 1year after subscribing to a plan?

  For the answer to your question about currency, I will ask for a staff member to answer that since they have that information that as a volunteer I do not. They are able to change the currency to Nigerian naira if you would like them to do so.

  To make sure I don’t give you a wrong answer I will ask a staff member to give the answer to your second question as well since I do not know that answer.

  @christianikem147 – We can give you an approximation because conversion rates can and will fluctuate.

  If you were to upgrade one of your sites to the Premium plan, that’s $8 x 12 = $96 USD. That converts to roughly 37200.00 NGN at this time.

  
  @ryrhino00 – You’re right; we do have the ability to change account currency preferences. But, unfortunately, NGN is not a supported currency at this time.
