How can someone explain charges to me? I really wanted to receive this blog but felt the need to cancel when I thought about paying $7 monthly after reading the first year is free. I am so confused and disappointed I can t speak to someone directly. Sister Cathy Regan

On all paid plans only the domain is free for the first year but you still have to pay for the plan itself.

What does it mean to pay for a domain? I have never had this experience before and find signing up for a bill for a $22 yearly fee at $7 monthly without being able to speak to someone directly to be
very awkward. -
To clarify, I see you purchased the WordPress.com Personal Plan Plan (montly edition) but a free domain is only included if you purchase the yearly version of the plan. If you have the monthy version you can add a custom domain but you do need to pay for the registration fees.
Knowing this, would you prefer to upgrade to the yearly version of the Personal Plan? This will allow us to re-add your domain chriskoellhofferihm.blog without added cost, and it will be free for the first year as advertised.
