  What are the charges for web hosting after the first year?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  @aunindyochakravarty – it depends on where you host your site.

  If you decide to host your site here with WordPress.com, we have a number of different plans available:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Otherwise, the WordPress software (from WordPress.org) is free to use on any hosting provider, so the cost there would be whatever the hosting provider charges for their services.
