Payment problem: ELV (Germany) leads to unspecified payment error
-
I totally understand.
We’ve heard back from Adyen once more and they’ve unblocked everything they can on their end, as have we. I would definitely suggest giving it that one more try, but other than this I don’t have any other suggestions, sadly. I’m so sorry that this has been such an amazingly complicated and chaotic issue.

Ok, I’ve tried again a few minutes ago now. After verifying the account number on 5 different sites, who all validated it correctly, I tried 4 times, with different ways to write bank name, office location and account holder name besides the “standard” way (though I doubt that’s important at that point, but you never know). Same problem *sigh*.
One more strange this is, that the whole ELV tab on the WP-store page had vanished. Relogging and clearing/refilling the cart several times didn’t help. I had to log in using another browser to work around this.
I’m sorry it didn’t work out, but I’ve now really come to the end of my motivation for trying to get this work and don’t want to use more time for this. I’ll be moving to a self-hosted wordpress.org site with my German web-hoster. Though I’m a bit sad about this (as it will be a bit more work), I’m trying to see the positive aspects like having more flexibility and more options.
Thanks again a lot for doing what you could and being one of the nicest support people I’ve (virtually) met so far. I there’s a QA survey or something I can fill out, link me to it :-).

A more cheerish side note from a fellow (hobby) photografer: You’re making great photos, keep it up. In 10 years your son will be sooo very thankful that you saved the memory of his first tries at eating with a spoon forever on the net – very sure of that ;-). -
Ha! Well thank you so very much for that. I really appreciate it! Our system sometimes sends out satisfaction surveys. You may get one in your email. And again, thanks for your kind words about the photos! It’s something that I try and keep a hobby rather than a more serious thing (so as not to spoil the fun), but I can’t stop taking photos of the kid.
I’m sorry to see you go. Your patience has approached the level of legendary and I wish I could have gotten this sorted out for you. Best of luck with everything you do!
