Payment problems for premium plan upgrade

    Hello,

    I’m trying to upgrade to a Premium account, but every time I try to pay with my company card, it says ‘Payment declined’. It is an accepted card type (Mastercard) and I have checked with the finance department, who have confirmed that there is no problem with the card or bank account, and the card has worked for other things recently. I have tried, and failed, on both Internet Explorer and Chrome. It just says the card declined with no explanation.

    Can anyone help with this issue?

    I have checked with the finance department, who have confirmed that there is no problem with the card or bank account, and the card has worked for other things recently.

    I’ve checked your account and the error I’m seeing suggests the purchase was blocked by your card provider. The next step is to contact them and ask whether they are blocking purchases to WordPress.com for any reason.

    If they are, that explains why you are unable to purchase a plan through WordPress.com but haven’t had any issues elsewhere.
