payment processing – testing works, live fails – how do I toggle to live API keys?

  I am able to process payments with stripe through woocommerce in test mode using your test card 4242 4242 4242 4242. The orders are processed. However, when I attempt to use a valid credit card, the card is declined. My live API says it has never been used – i don’t know how to toggle from test to live. The ‘view test data’ toggle only shows what happened after the fact so when I toggle it off, the card still fails. How can I make the payment process use the live API keys? I haven’t removed all plugins for testing yet because I thought this may be a simple solution. It is the first time I have ever used credit ard processing. Thanks, Scott Harris

  Hi Scott,

  If you have WooCommerce installed on a WordPress.com Business Plan or have a paid WooCommerce extension on a self-hosted site you can open a ticket while logged into your account at:

  https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

  But, if your site is self-hosted and built using the WordPress.org open software, you’ll need to seek assistance from their forums which can be found at:

  https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce
