Payment providers at ecommerce

Hi! I am planning to open online shop targeting Finnish customers, so my question is: Does Word press support online bank payments? Meaning, that my customers could pay by using their online banking credentials (Nordea, Pohjola, OP-pankki etc..)

Hello there,
Congratulations on your decision to open up an online shop. WordPress.com is a great resource that will help you achieve success in your goal.
I do not know exactly what you mean by online bank payments, perhaps you can elaborate so we can answer better.
I can tell you however that WordPress.com does support accepting credit/debit card payments of all kinds. Since you are looking to start an online store – I recommend you use WooCommerce, the most popular eCommerce solution on WordPress:

And if you wanna know more about e-commerce visit this link for more general information: https://wordpress.com/support/ecommerce/I’d also suggest that you take a look at the E-commerce plan to see if it fits your needs:

Hi,
What i mean is this
“Online payment
Online payment is a safe electronic service for companies that sell products or services over the Internet. After a customer has finished shopping online, they can select online payment as the payment method. Without interrupting the session, the customer is then transferred to their own bank’s online service, where they can make the payment from their own account. The payment uses the same security solutions as online banking. The originator’s banking details are not displayed to the seller, and no third parties have reading or modifying access to the transmitted data. The seller’s details are also verified with a specific security code. The seller must form an online payment contract separately with each bank. Implementation of the service requires that the company is capable of generating the online payment data and an electronic invoice for the customer.” -
Hi @jigikeisari,
If you’re planning on using WooCommerce (included with plan eCommerce and possible to install on Business), you’d be able to choose from many payment gateways:
https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/.
If there are some local payment gateways you’d like to use, you’ll want to contact them to see if they have a WooCommerce plugin that you could install.
You can also have a look at the official WooCommerce forums, you may find some recommendations there: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/.
Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.
