I recently started a new site, The Freethinker Magazine. Shortly after a payment of 18.27 euro was taken out of my bank account. The details are as follows: 03/11/2022

As I don’t plan to launch the site until next January I did not knowingly purchase a subscription, but will do later. Can you caste any light on this payment.

Hey there Barry! It looks like you maybe bought just the domain to save the name for later, which isn’t a bad idea.
The only tricky part is you registered it through another account. You can transfer it to this one if you’d like, when you’re ready:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-domain-registration/Just log into the other account first.

Thanks for your reply. It seems that I accidentally created two domains: thefreethinkermagazine.wordpress.com and thefreethinkermedia.wordpress.com
The first is the one I intend proceeding with. But WP won’t allow me to transfer the second to the first. Nor can I find a way of deleting the second.
I hope that, having bought the domain as you pointed out, no further charges will levied until I purchase a plan next year.
