Payment questions

Does WordPress accept Global Travel credit cards? I tried to purchase a domain under my AMEX Global Travel card and got a message of the transaction not being accepted. I figured that, since WP works with PayPal and PayPal accepted my Global Traqvel card, I could also use it for WordPress directly.
Can someone help with any info?
Thanks in advance!

Below are the only accepted means of payment.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/
If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country or pay in Bitcoin.
In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.
The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.
More about echecks here:

I’m really sorry to come at this again, but if WP refused my purchase, then why is there a one dollar discount from wordpress on my credit card billing?
-
I have no answer for that. What do you see at
> Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
and at
> Dashboard > Store > Billing History?I’ll tag this thread for a Staff response. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

My Upgrades shows a message stating that I have no current upgrades bought.
Billing History shows no history at all.
I saw the one dollar charge on my bank statement…

Hi there,
The $1.00 is our attempt to authorize the card. Any and all authorization attempts will be refunded back on to the card if they fail or will be used to apply towards the purchase price of the item if they succeed. Usually this happens quickly enough that the debit and refund are layered one on top of the other, but some cards process refunds quite slowly.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience!
