Payment refund

  I was purchased a hosting plan from wordpress.com after the same day i canclled plan and the amount was 33 USD.

  After cancellation i got mail from your side mentined that i will get the refund between 7 to 10 days to credit card account.

  I was cancelled the plan was February 07 2022. It almost over 15 days now.

  Kindly clarify

  Hi there,

  I can confirm we processed your refund on 7 February. The email you received is a receipt for that transaction that includes a transaction ID from our payment processor as well.

  However, as we refunded you on within a few hours of the original payment, your bank has likely processed it as a reversal instead on their end. This means instead of a new entry on your statement showing a refund, the original entry should just get dropped from your final statement. The funds may still show as unavailable for a time as your bank would have placed a hold on it with the original transaction, but that should be removed automatically after a while.

  If the original charge doesn’t get dropped from your final statement, please contact your bank directly so they can check on this from their end.
