    My dashboard on this site has disappeared. Do I have to renew payments every year because it used to be free being connected to bluehost, what happened?

    What’s the address of the site you’re working on?

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting, like Bluehost.

    That said, if you want to keep a site hosted elsewhere connected to your WordPress.com account, you’ll need to install Jetpack:
