Payment with PayPal

  Hi Mod-Team!

  I just wanted to buy a tariff and pay with PayPal because i don’t have a credit card. Then when I logged in with my account, they still ask me to type in my credit card number, although I choose PayPal.

  I have enough money on my PayPal account, that should not be the problem.

  Can anyone help me?

  Even though you have enough money on your PayPal wallet, you are asked to enter your credit card details during purchase because WordPress.com plans are renewed automatically after one year.

  You can always manage/cancel your renewals at any time of your subscription.

  Hi there,

  You will need to have a card or a bank account connected to your PayPal account, yes, even if you have sufficient funds in that account. This is a requirement from PayPal for any subscription-based payments.

  What might work is if you buy a prepaid credit card, and then link that to your PayPal account.
