  Hi WordPress – I have created this account in order to get in thouch with you on behalf of ttora.dk. Last year we changed our website operator from WordPress to Squarespace. When we did the shift we where locked out of our WordPress account and thereby our payment system. Even though we are not using WordPress anymore we still get payments from those of our members who signed up there but we cannot control who pays and how much they pay – and the other way around, our members can’t cancel their membership or regulate how much they want to donate.

  Hi there!

  To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

  Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

  You would need to get in touch with the company you used to host your WordPress site before you switched to Squarespace – they should be able to tell you what e-commerce solution you used on that site and you can reach out to the e-commerce company for help.
