  Why am I paying almost 200.00 a year just to keep this website up, compared to many other website building sites.

  I’m very curious and considering switching over to a cheaper provider that my friends have recommended.

  Hey Omar,

  Website hosting at WordPress.com is free. It’s the upgrades that you’ve added that cost you money. You can certainly strip those away, and run a site for no cost, or a cheaper amount.

  You shouldn’t have to pay $200 year for the site, however. I see a lot of single upgrades. It would be much more cost effective to get all these features bundled in the Premium upgrade for $99:

  How can I consolidate my current payments/future payments into the Premium Upgrade without having to pay double for the year?
