    Are monthly payments available? I can’t afford a big chunk all at once.

    There are no monthly upgrade plans. We are billed annually and we must pay for all upgrades in full at the time of purchase after selecting a plan. Each upgrade bundle applies to a single blog only and is for a single year only when it is due to be renewed. (The only exceptions are one time upgrades for premium themes and guided transfers.)

    We have 4 different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose. You can view all wordpress.com plan features here https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and add a plan for each of your sites.

    Thank you for your response. I’m afraid that while keeping my blog site that I will have to look elsewhere if I chose to use a paid site.

    One more question please. Can I set up a separate free acct aside from my blog for my art? I’d like for them to be separate.

    WordPress.com accounts are free so you could set up a separate account and create a new site using the Free plan,

    The other option is to create a new site in your existing account. The two sites would be separate from one another but can be managed from the same account by switching between them in My Sites.
