I think I explained myself wrong. I’m wondering instead of visa or master card. van I use visa or master card gift cards. I just don’t like using my real visa online. Sorry for the confusing timethief.

The only accepted means of payment are in this support doc.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/
If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country.
In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.
The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

Hi there,
As long as the card is issued by one of the major credit card companies, have sufficient funds, and is authorised for online (and international if you’re outside the US) payments, it should work as it’s essentially just a prepaid credit card. I know of other users who’ve successfully purchased upgrades from us using gift cards like that.

I’m going to upgrade to the $5.00 a month plan. to get rid of adds. But the adds I’m getting are not WP related. Will it still get rid of them?

The ads you see are based on factors like your location and browser history. No two people looking at your site will see exactly the same ads.
The Personal Plan will prevent all advertising from appearing on your site for all visitors. If you still see ads on your site after buying the plan, those are coming from a browser add-on, or possibly malware, not from us.
