Payments are not allowed for my account

    I’ve tried upgrading my website with a plan for the first time to benefit from all the extra features and when I tried to proceed with payment I was notified that purchases are currently disabled.
    I contacted the support team but I was informed that payments will not be allowed for my account and that I may use it on the free plan for as long as I’d like without upgrades, not sure why.
    Has this issue occurred with anyone else before and can it be resolved?
