payments continue to be taken from my bank account after cancelation

  • Unknown's avatar

payments for ‘canceled subscription’ (canceled last year) continue to be taken from my bank account after cancelation and in my ‘Manage Purchases’ i have no subscriptions, no past or future payments listed and no way to contact you to resolve this issue… My bank informs me that the only way to sort this is to file an official report with the police and then take the report to the bank for them to then pull the money back and block you from taking further payments… IS THIS REALLY THE WAY I HAVE TO GO TO DEAL WITH THIS???
Im hoping someone can get back to me to resolve this issue, surly there must be a contact email address i can email to help resolve this???
If not i may spend a lot of time on SocialMedia to give others a headz-up on how risky it is to subscribe to a plan, as WordPress will continue to charged you after you unsubscribe!!! NOT A HAPPY CLIENT!

Hold your horses! Just wait for a Staff member to solve your problem.

  • Hi @teazerdrinks, I don’t see any charges at all on this account, so my guess is that you’ve got another account. Can you log out and log in with the account associated with that site?

And, could you respond with a link to the old site?

Hi Supernovia… yes you are correct it was another account :-(
Is there anyway I can cancel this years subscription???? As Im skint and thought this was canceled…. any way you can help…. could i maybe keep the “teazericetea.com DOMAIN and cancel the “Premium website subscription” for this year??? (This way as soon as im in a better position financially (hopefully in a few months time) I can add website subscription back again).
    Hope you can help?

I have requested the refund…. sorry for the panic… my stupid fault.

  • I can see you have already canceled the plan, and the refund is being processed. Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, but some banks may require more time to process the refund.

In some cases, you will not see a separate refund listed on your statement, but the original charge will be removed instead.

The domain teazericetea.com is still active, though. If you would like to cancel it as well, let us know, and we’ll help you with that.
Bear in mind that if you want to keep using this domain, even with another site, you will want to transfer it, instead:
