Payments for E-Commerce

    Hello, I was just wondering, I am helping a client to build his site on WordPress. He has a couple of products that he would like to sell on his website, but he is’t a fan of Paypal. Can his customers pay using their card on his site or is it Paypal only? Please could you advise?

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site? The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own, nor is it a member of, any site hosted on WordPress.com.

    If it is a Personal or Premium Plan site hosted on WordPress.com, PayPal is the only payment option that’s integrated for single-purchase payments.

    Add Payment Buttons

    If the site is hosted on our Business Plan, or using the open source version of WordPress at another hosting provider, you can use any payment processor you want, as long as there exists a WordPress plugin for that particular payment processor that works with whatever ecommerce plugin you’re using on the site.
