Payments on different WordPress plans

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I am comparing the different WordPress plans.
What is the difference of ‘Payments’ on all the differernt plans?

If I take the Personal plan, which ‘accepts payments’: which type of payment options? from which countries?

    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

You can see what blocks are available for payments here:

    https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/

The primary use is for a payment button of some kind so you can offer a way to accept payments for products and/or services, but there is also a donation block option, as well as a block that locks your “premium content” behind a paywall, so that someone has to subscribe in order to see it. Behind the scenes payments are processed via Stripe, and the link above walks you through how that is set up on your end. You can find a full list of the countries and currencies we support here.

Any of our paid plans will give you access to the payments blocks we offer so you have the same options wether you are on the Personal plan or the Business Plan. The primary difference is that the higher up the plan is, the lower the fees are (per transaction) which we detail here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/#related-fees

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
