PayPal automatic billing button
-
Hi! I’m trying to set up a PP button for automatic billing on my site (http://dustbunnyhomeservice.com/73-2/ shows the best I am able to achieve) – I read this article http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/ and also contacted PayPal support. My issue is that the automatic billing buttons don’t produce a short link email code.
Do you understand why the website embed doesn’t render properly, and might I be able to work around the issue by writing my own HTML for the button (as introduced here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/autobill_buttons/#id1047D8009YK)? Is there a solution that works for the automatic billing button option?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Our systems do not allow third party forms of the sort which are required by the more advanced PayPal button/form features. As specified in our PayPal help article, we only allow the most basic of PayPal buttons.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thanks for this, @amightywp – would I be able to integrate this advanced PayPal button on a wordpress.org hosted site?

Yes, that shoudn’t be an issue. You can always set up a WordPress.org site on some hosting somewhere for cheap or even free and do some testing to make sure that it will work as you’d like before you go through any effort of migrating your content. Here are a couple of reliable hosts that we recommend: http://get.wp.com/hosting/
