Paypal Button Help for Widget

  Thanks in advance, if you can help!
  The Situation:
  I already have the paypal code for a donation button, but the widget wouldn’t accept it (everytime I hit SAVE, most of the code disappeared).
  I read that the text widget should take it. Then I read that because it’s a .com wordpress (?), I would need a plug in? But there is no plug in option on my dashboard!

  Thanks for that ink, but at step #5, it explains how to do what I already tried to do (and didn’t work). That is, I pasted the paypal-generated code into the text widget and the widget would not accept it.

  not the traditional website code. Look carefully at the step 2.
