Paypal button using HTML code
-
Help! I am trying to paste the HTML code Paypal generated for me when I created a payment button that includes drop down boxes, but what shows up visually is just a table of the drop down choices, not a clickable link. I have successfully pasted previous Paypal links using the email or hyperlink Paypal gave me, but Paypal does not offer hyperlinks as an option if your button includes drop down boxes, only the HTML code. Surely there is some way to do this?

Hi there,
re: PayPalKnow that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Note that the PayPal email link is not supported and PayPal customization options are not supported either

So frustrating! Loads of plug-ins exist for the free WordPress.org but not WordPress.com? You would think WordPress.com
would be willing to collaborate with Paypal and come up with something. Looks like we may need to go another direction with our website :( -
I’m sorry but if you are reading anything that makes you think that bloggers can install plugins on sites hosted by wordpress.COM, then you are mistaken/misinformed. We have never had that ability. You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability is provided on wordpress.COM hosted sites for security and stability reasons. No upgrade changes that reality. Here at wordpress.COM we have built-in plugins. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
