  Hi,im trying to add a Pay Pal button to my site. When i copy the code from paypal into the html editor all looks fine, if i then look at the visual option all is fine too, ie i see the drop down payment options and the Buy Now button, but when i click update to make the code live a load of code is stripped out and the button disappears, am i doing something wrong?

  WordPress really isn’t suited for ecommerce and the code required for the paypal buttons is stripped out for security reasons. The only paypal code that will work here is the plain HTML donate button.

  If you want to sell stuff, you will need to self-host a wordpress site on a third-party hosing server such as godaddy, bluehost, etc. using the software from wordpress.ORG. Figure an average monthly cost, all things considered, of about $10 to $25.
