PayPal 'Buy Now' button not working

  Hi. I have spent a long time trying to get to grips with WordPress. I have learned a lot, but am still having many problems. I finally managed to get the PayPal ‘Buy Now’ button onto my blog (on the ‘Skills Swap/Earning Money’ page) but nothing happens when someone clicks on it.
  How do I make it work, please?
  I am using the free site.

  Hello!

  I’m not too familiar with the PayPal button, but <a href=”
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/view-all/”>this article explains how to set it up.

  You will need to supply a code directly from PayPal from your button. If you haven’t done this yet, that is likely the issue.This article explains how do this, and its a little complicated so I will just post the article link there so you can work through it.

  Hi. Thank you for your reply. I have had a look at the first link, but that asks me to upgrade to Premium – which you pay for. I am using the free site.

  I already have the code from PayPal. I have already put the button onto my WordPress page. But when someone clicks onto the button, nothing happens.

  If you know of any other steps, I would be very grateful.
