PayPal debits despite deleted account
-
Hi all,
I have a problem with WP. My wife had a WP site via IONOS. She had canceled the provision of IONOS a few months ago. My wife’s WP account was deleted. But now WP is debiting 7.13 USD from her PayPal account every month. How can I stop this debit? I have also tried an account recovery via transaction code, but can’t get any further as the address of the page no longer exists.
Can anyone help me? I am really desperate.Regards,
Ralf -
Are you sure that charge was made by WordPress – https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/?
If and only if that charge was made by WordPress, you can trace it back at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/

The problem with the first link is that my wife has complete deleted her account.
The detail on the charge in PayPal says: WP Media

Hi there! Thank you for contacting us, however it seems like you will need to contact Ionos if your wife had a site/account with them to resolve this issue. WordPress.com is a separate hosting provider from Ionos. This guide explains the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress sites hosted elsewhere: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

If you do believe that the charge is related to a WordPress.com account, please fill out the account recovery form here and submit the transaction ID that you have (do not share it publicly in the forums): https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

I thought that WP Media was WordPress but I’m wrong.
In WP Media are rocket or imagify included.
