Paypal donate button help!!
-
I’m trying to add a Paypal donate button to my blog. I’ve ‘Googled’ it and the consensus seems to be that the button should be found in Appearance – Widgets but I have just looked and can’t see a widget for this.
If somebody could help with providing a link or screenshot to where I need to look, that’d be awesome.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you using the correct guide for wordpress.COM blogs at this link? https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

I am having the exact same problem as thesecretdiaryofasinglemum! I saw this post and followed the instructions on the link given: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/ to the letter! What I get in the end is visible html code showing on my published page.
Why does the TEXT form not have a tab for inserting HTML and a tab for TEXT – this would make it a whole lot easier!

I can’t even see the Paypal widget in my widget menu so haven’t even got that far :-(
I haven’t had a response from WordPress so hope I will get something soon.

It says to place the HTML code into a TEXT widget … so that’s what I did. The problem is that the TEXT widget shows only the HTML code, and not the actual button.. so it’s not doing me or our non-profit group any good.

Yes, I’ve had that issue before wit different WP widgets – hopefully they’ll come back to us :-)
