Paypal donate button is HUGE….

    I followed the directions, got my URL, chose a button, copied the img code and the button works, but it’s gigantic. I want people to notice it but….. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Following these instructions may resolve the problem.

    If your site happens to be on the Premium, Business or eCommerce plan, Simple Payments is another option for adding a payment button.

    I’ve got a button (you can’t miss it) near the middle of the page, and one at the bottom. The buttons themselves don’t actually work, but the code in front of them does take you to our PayPal donation page.

    I appreciate your help and advice!!

    Hello!

    Here is the code that is going to work:

    This is the code you will copy and paste to display a PayPal Donate button on your site.

    To display the Donate button on a page, add a Custom HTML block to your page where you want the Donate button to appear. Copy and paste only the Donate button code (from above) into that block.

    For the text that you want to precede the Donate button on a page, you might use a Heading block and/or a Paragraph block. Keep this content separate from the Custom HTML block where you paste the code for the Donate button.

    If you were adding this to a Widget in the footer or a sidebar, you would use the Custom HTML Widget for both the text and the Donate button.

    Take your time. Check your work as you go. You are doing well to get this far on your own. Let us know if it the next try goes better.

    Looking at how the code posted, let me add: double-click in the shaded box to copy all of the Donate button code. Some of the code is not visible unless you click inside the shaded box and scroll to the right.
