PayPal Donate – Really Easy Guide
-
Is there anyway of hiding the link that shows in the status bar during mouse over at all?
-
That would be really counterintuitive. People WANT to know where that link will take them; why would you hide it? I wouldn’t click on a link to a payment service that hid what payment service it was.
-
But i thought that was what paypal normally did with its encyption (when turned on), so that the information couldn’t be tampered with?
-
I’ve spent the last hour reading this post and others and still can’t get the Paypal button to appear.

please don’t repeat the same question in multiple threads, it’s redundant. once is enough. =)

I’ve suggested using Amazon.com’s honor system rather than PayPal, which I find less than secure. Anyone else think that’s a useful addition to the site?

I’ve been using paypal since 2000, and I’ve never had a problem. They have actually saved me from fraud many times. I’ve been a seller on ebay since 1999, and opened my paypal account in 2000, and been happy since!
Once someone purchased $26,000.00 worth of computers from me, and it was a fraud. Didn’t cost me a dime.
They have also refunded my money many times when I’ve been ripped off, not just on ebay, but when I’ve used them on other sites as well.
I guess I’m 1 in a million from the sounds of it.
