  Why am I not able to add a buy it now paypal button to my wordpress website? I read on other posts that you have to use the donation button, but I do not want to because I feel like that will look suspicious. I have a registered domain name if that makes any difference…..

  Hi. The “donation” button is the only PayPal button we can use here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  Please note: as long as your website is hosted by WordPress.com, it makes no difference whether you have your own domain name or not:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#important-notes-before-upgrading
