hdsugarshack, what browser (and version of) are you trying to use?
Also, is your PayPal account in good standing (no blocks, etc)?

Every browser has different updates. We need to know which version you’re using so we can figure out whether the updates are interfering.
If you have decided to go for self-hosting, you don’t need ANY upgrades, but it’s a lot more technical.

Also, hdsugarshack is not having trouble adding a paypal button to her already existing site. We had trouble paying for the domain name and hosting with paypal versus with a credit card.

No. Click this link http://www.thismachine.info/ and the site will automatically display the information we need. Copy and paste what’s in the box there into a comment box here please. -
I set up a donate button on my wordpress.com blog. Everything is done and mostly working. When you press the button, the link takes you to a “broken link” I am not sure what to do from here.

@fibrobulletin: Your problem is different: you’re asking about adding a “Donate” button on your blog, and the original poster is asking about paying WP.com via PayPal.
For the sake of organization, please start a separate topic and we’ll take it from there:
