Paypal on free wordpress account?

  I’ve set up a free wordpress site for a campaign for a school board position (volunteer) so trying to keep costs to a minimum. I set up a Paypal account to accept donations but need to add a button to the wordpress site. Not clear if this can be done with the free account or if so how to do it.

  Be aware the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  Thanks! Any way you know of to change the Buy Now to a Donate Now? Tried changing the text but it reverts.

  Figured it out. I had to find an example of the coding for a donation button then copy that to a text editor and then implant the code for the PP site and then copy and paste that into the WP text widget.
