  Followu=ing the directions at https://wordpress.com/support/paypal/ the PayPal button works perfectly in Preview, but once Upgrade is selected for the page being edited, the following message is received from PayPal: http://www.paypal.com refused to connect. How can I make the link work?

  Hi there:

  You can only add the PayPal button if you have Premium or higher plan on your account first.

  Can you upgrade then try adding the button again and see if you have the same error? Let us know if you still have this problem and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.
