PayPal payment requires credit card?

  Hi! I want to get my own domain. However, wordpress wants me to type in my credit card informations when paying through paypal. I do not own a credit card, so how can I pay for a domain registration through paypal without credit card informations?

  Hi Kim,

  PayPal sometimes requires that you have a credit card as a backup method of payment even when paying with funds from your PayPal account. That’s a PayPal requirement related to how they process payments made to WordPress.com, and not something we can change on our end.

  If you don’t have your own credit card, you may want to see if a friend or family member will purchase that domain for you with a credit card. Sorry I can’t do more to help in this case!

  Thank you Rachel, but this doesn’t really help because I already asked my parents but they don’t want to give their credit card information to the internet
