PayPal plugin on WordPress

  I have a free plan wordpress account. And a PayPal account. Want to put the PayPal Buy Now plugin / button on website. Instructions offered by PayPal and WordPress support for this action do not work. Super suck. How do I get the darned button on the wordpress page? Or do they not offer this anymore and I should host on another site? Please and thank you for any time you offer on this.
