  I’ve had a very difficult time finding “/wp-content/plugins” directory.
  I want to download a PayPal donation button and it just seems not to let me do so.
  How do I do this?

  NO reselling anything made by anyone else or selling an service provided by anyone else is allowed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. For selling your own creations on a free hosted WordPress.com blog see http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  Also note that there is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.com and WordPress.ORG have different logins.
