  Is it possible on a wordpress.com blog to put a counter on the number of times a PDF is downloaded?

  The site is http://wpos.wordpress.com/

  The download is at http://wpos.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/waq-whole-book-pdf-version.pdf

  Not as far as I know. You will see, in your stats page under Clicks, the number of times each day it has been downloaded.

  Well, this is a bit far out but you could create a poll in the post and ask people to click “I downloaded this” or something. But it would not be fully reliable…
