I see that Scribd requires a membership now. How do I embed my pdf files so that people can see them on my page, rather than click on a link. I see that there are plug-ins for wordpress, but do you need to have a premium membership to get those?
What do you suggest I can do? Do you have any other free sites that can create an embed code? I really appreciate it!

No, you are on the wrong track if you think that you can purchase any upgrade for blogger installed plugins.

You are confusing wordpress.com hosted blogs and wordpress.org software installs.There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability.
