How to I embed a PDF file

  How do I insert a pdf file into a page so the file appears, not a link to it? I have only been able to insert the link.

  Uploading file on your WordPress.com site only allows you to insert a download link to a file. If you wish to embed the actual document into a post or page, you can use external services such as: Scribd and Slideshare (optimized for presentation slides)
