PDF File Not Deleting

  Hello, I recently deleted a pdf file from my media library, however have noticed that it’s still up at https://ancientinsights.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/five-proofs-of-the-existence-of-god.pdf

  It’s urgent that this file gets taken down, so please help me with this.

  Hey @societisms, the files are deleted from the server but it takes a few days for it to completely disappear as the files are cached.

  Hi there,

  I’ve purged that file from our cache, so it should no longer be accessible.

  Keep in mind that anyone who recently viewed that file in their browser might still be able to access it via the browser cache. Deleting it with us also won’t remove copies of it that might be cached with Google and other search engines.

  If you’re still able to access the file via an online search result, you’ll need to contact the specific search engine directly to get the file removed from their cache and search index.
