Pdf File still exist after site deletion

  I uploaded some pdf files which contain personal information. After complete deletion of my site, the file is still accessible through link and it shows up in google search when searching for any of its content. I need to remove this file from wordpress server as soon as possible,

  I see you haven’t yet deleted your actual site, but only the content. The file most probably isn’t on the WordPress server, but on Google’s. Cached copies of webpages can still be visible on Google search weeks after deletion. That’s why we usually advise people to set a site to private, rather than deleting it. Please do the following:

  Verify your blog with Google Webmaster Tools if you haven’t done so yet, so Google will know you’re the owner of the site: http://support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

  Next, set your blog to private. That way, if a cached page comes up in search results, people not logged in to your account shouldn’t be able to access it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  After setting your blog to private, submit a removal request via Webmaster Tools. There’s no guarantee, but that should remove your site from Google’s registry so it won’t show in searches anymore. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  @kokkieh, thanks for reply, but I am talking about other deleted site. I am sure it is not cached. I have submitted a request to Google however its denied because its is still on server. Any idea?

  As I said, when you delete an entire site it can still be visible on Google for several weeks and removal requests don’t always work.

  I’ll tag this for staff to follow up, but you’ll have to provide the URL of the deleted blog (starting with http://) for them to be able to help. Once you reply with that I’ll tag this thread for you.

  Hi there,

  I just made sure those PDFs are completely removed from our servers’ caches. If you still see the files in your browser, please refresh the page or clear your browser’s cache.

  We can’t control what appears in Google’s search results, but you should now be able to request that Google remove those PDFs from their results.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
